IHSW August - part 2

Hello again stitchers!  I nearly forgot to post my 2nd IHSW update but here it is better late than never!  I've been doing some different days at work this week so I think that's what's thrown me.  I only worked on Pretty Little Hong Kong.  My supposed rotation is not rotating very much.  perhaps I have actually turned into a serial starter!  I intend to finish PLHK before I go back to anything else.  I keep looking at it and thinking there's not much to do. It would be nice to have it finished before the end of the school holidays as it was meant to be a holiday project.  Not sure how realistic that goal is as I'm working most of this bank holiday weekend!

 Here is a Christmas card I have made using a free kit from a magazine.  There were three images of these little mice but it was a while ago and I can't find the magazine now so I'm not sure which one it was!  I have layered him with gold mirror card and christmas papers from Dovecraft and added some bling and a stamped sentiment.  I think he's very cute indeed!

IHSW Update

Hi everyone! 

It's been a while since I've been here, we've had a couple of great holidays to France and Norfolk.  I've come back to find my job is being transferred to another company in February so that's been a bit of a shock to say the least!  I didn't get a lot of stitching done last weekend but as I haven't blogged any stitching progress for a bit it looks like I've done loads!

I took this on holiday but in my packing frenzy I forgot the snaps of my Q snap frame!  I started doing it in hand but it was quite hard going.  It's been much quicker since I've been home and had it in the frame!  I don't think it will be too long before it's done.  I haven't worked on Bamboo Fan at all since last time.

I believe we're having another IHSW this weekend so I hope to have more progress to show you in the middle of next week.
