Make it Feminine at Craft Rocket

Hello everyone it's time for a new challenge at Craft Rocket.  Our theme this time is Make it Feminine.  So we'd like to see all your girly creations.

This is the third and final card I've made using a kit from World of Cross Stitch magazine.  There were three little Japanese Kokeshi dolls.  They were very fiddly as there's lots of fractional stitches and the aida was very stiff.

I've used yellow and brown card from my stash and a stamped sentiment by Little Claire Designs.  The background paper was a gift from my mother-in-law.  She gave me a pack of japanese hand silk screened papers and they're all just beautiful.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Go Green at Unicorn

Good morning everyone, it's challenge time at Unicorn, our theme this month is Go Green.

I have stitched a little bear with a fishing rod for this chellenge.  The kit is a mini one from Hobbycraft called Fishing Teddy.  My Dad enjoys fishing so this is for his birthday.

I've layered him on green card and paper from my stash and added a stamped sentiment. I've put some buttons and bows from baker's twine down the side and added an accordion fold at the bottom.

No Patterned Paper at Craft Rocket

Good morning everyone, it's time for another challenge at Craft Rocket.  Our theme this time is No Patterned Papers.

I was struggling with an idea for this challenge but then this idea came to me in the night so I had to get up and try it.  I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

I've used 3 different colours of mirror board and layered them up.  The sentiment is a present topper that I bought in Sainsbury's sale after Christmas.  There were 4 in a pack for 60p - bargain!  This was quick and easy so I might make a few more.
