Use Embellishments at Craft Rocket

Hello again everyone, it's time for a new monthly challenge at Craft Rocket.  Our theme this month is

Use Embellishments.

I've made this beautiful dragon using a chart from Ultimate Cross Stitch Cards magazine.  He's stitched 2 over 1 on 14 count aida using the recommended DMC threads.

The paper is Japanese hand printed that I got as a present from my mother-in-law.  The scale cabochons I got from e-bay especially for this project.

Monochrome at Unicorn

Good morning everyone, it's time for a new monthly challnge at Unicorn.  Our theme this time is Monochrome.

I've made some Easter cards using charts from Ultimate Cross Stitch Cards maagazine vol 9

I've never tried blackwork before, it was fairly easy, just making patterns with backstitch.  I stitched all three of these in an afternoon and they were quick to make into cards too.
