A Finish!

Hello everyone, I have a finish to show you today!  Pretty Little Hong Kong is done!

Stitched on 18 count Zweigart Davosa Ivory 2 over 1 using the recommended DMC threads.

I really enjoyed stitching this, no fractional stitches, minimal backstitching and it brings back many happy memories of a wonderful city.  Now I have to decide what to do with it.  My husband thinks a cherry wood frame would look nice.

What to stitch on next?  I think I'll go back to Forest Walk for a while.  It's on the verge of looking like a dragon and I really want to see the result of all the fiddly confetti stitching come together.

Thanks for visiting and Happy Stitching until next time.

  1. Congrats on a lovely finish! I think an antique blue frame would look good but with this kind of design you could go for a bright pop of color on the frame too.

  4. Gorgeous bright finish! What a lovely reminder of your time in Hong Kong. I can never visualise what frame will match a project until I get to the framers and put a few of them next to my stitching!
