Wipocalypse and start of IHSW part 2

Hello everyone, it's Wipocalypse time again.  Hosted by Melissa at Measi's Musings.

I've been working on Treasure Hunt Bookshelf.  Here's where it was at the last Wipocalypse:

Top row complete!

Here's where I was on Friday (for the purposes of IHSW part 2)

And here's where I am this morning. I'm hoping to get the row I'm working on and another row done today but as I haven't started yet and it's lunchtime it's not looking likely!

I have 12 pages complete now and over 83,000 stitches.  Only another 200,000 to go!

Our question this month is what were you working on this time last year and have you finished it?

About this time last year I started on Bamboo Fan and no, I haven't finished it.  Since I started Treasure Hunt Bookshelf on 20th December I've only picked it up once.  This is very bad as I wanted to finish it this year.

I've filled in a bit more of the Peacock's tail and a bit more of the flowers on the left.  I really don't want to lose momentum on Treasure Hunt Bookshelf but if I don't sort out a proper rotation to include this then I'll never get it done.  And I love it, so why don't I want to stitch on it?!  Considering how quickly THB is growing, if I gave Bamboo Fan the same attention it probably wouldn't take that long either.

  1. Waouh your Treasure Hunt Bookshelf is gorgeous, it's a amazing chart (perfect for booklovers!) and I'll be a great fan to follow your progress on both projects as Bamboo Fan is lovely too. Amicalement

  3. Your progress is amazing! Congrats on finishing the top row. :) Perhaps you could start working your fan just one day a week? I have a certain project I only stitch on available Fridays. Progress is slow, but it's still progress. Just a thought. :)

    1. I think this is what I'm going to have to do. Tuesdays would be a good day as I am usually just clock watching all morning before I have to go to work!

  4. Both of your wips are lovely. We just need more stitching time to work on all of the projects that are calling to us.
